Yogeswari Founder Yogeswari, based at the Jivamukti Yoga School in New York City since the year 2000, is one of the most senior teachers of the Jivamukti Yoga Method. She is Advanced Certified, a Facilitator of Jivamukti Teacher Trainings, and has taken many Jivamukti Certified Teachers through one-on-one apprenticeships towards their 800-hour-certification. Since 2004, she has been teaching around the world. Yogeswari is known for her vigorous, seamless Vinyasa sequencing, and her thought-provoking philosophical teachings. With 20 years of experience in dance and choreography, she brings liveliness and vibrancy to all her work. She holds an MA in choreography and dance from New York University and a BFA McL in dance from Temple University, Philadelphia. Born in Switzerland, she teaches workshops, immersions, and retreats in five languages. She is the founder and president of AZAHAR Foundation.
Thyda SEK Country director Thyda SEK was born in Siem Reap, Cambodia and grew up in France. After working as a lobbyist for an American Company in Paris, Thyda decided to leave her life in France to settle in Cambodia and re-establish with her roots. Thyda has worked for almost 6 years with AZAHAR Foundation and is passionnate by her work. She is also a certified Jivamukti yoga teacher since February 2018.
Liva SIN Program director Liva is Program Director of Azahar Foundation. She starts her volunteer life since she was 13 years old. She has been working in peace building for a decade with non-government organization in Cambodia and her work is starting from the grass roof level to national level and regional. Liva held a Master degree on Education and Planning from Royal University of Phnom Penh.
SOURN Chhaykeang Accountant Manager Sourn Chhaykeang holds a Bachelor Degree of Accounting from Vanda Institute. In 2015 she started work as Accountant at Jit Textiles .Limited and 2017 she was an Accountant at Asianerial Advisory Int. She has joined Azahar Foundation Cambodia as Head of Finance & Administration in 01 October 2018.
VATH Soveth Communication Manager Soveth is Communication Manager of AZAHAR Foundation Cambodia. She is finished a Bachelor degree on International Relations from Pannasastra University of Cambodia. After she moved to live in Phnom Penh in 2011 she has joint peace workshop and peace campaign with other NGOs. In 2012 she stated volunteered and worked with peace building program.
MENG Sophanmai Receptionist I am first year student at Prek Leap College of Agriculture. In 2017 I joint Peace program and leadership workshop for 1 year with AZAHAR Foundation Cambodia. Now I am working as Receptionist at AZAHAR Foundation.
KEO Sreynhip Housekeeper eo Sreynhip work as a housekeeper at AZAHAR Foundation Cambodia. She has started working since 1998 in Phnom Penh. In 2010 she worked as Mother Care at Kien Khlang orphanage center until 2016. In early 2018 she start working at AZAHAR Cambodia.
POV Sopheak Service Sopheak Pov was born in Siem Reap. She is a Christian and studied at Kantrak Adventist School.
